The magic behind Totally Feline™️ Whiskers and Wings Series was born from the real-life challenges that come with loving and caring for our feline family members. As cat parents, we often face difficult situations from behavioral struggles and inner conflict to inappropriate elimination and other overwhelming household issues. These moments can leave us feeling frustrated, exhausted, and sometimes even heartbroken.
I created Whiskers and Wings as a therapeutic and heartfelt way to cope with those everyday experiences. Instead of only seeing the situation through my own eyes, I wanted to imagine what life might feel like from the perspective of the cat — or even the bird — sharing my home. By stepping into their world, the challenges became a little less heavy and a little more understandable.
It, definitely, did not erase the reality of the situations I still had to face within my household, but it gave me something incredibly valuable. The ability to smile instead of cry. It allowed me to see the emotions, confusion, and experiences our animal companions may be going through in their own unique way.
Through Totally Feline ™️ Whiskers and Wings, I share the journey of navigating everyday life in a feline and bird household with compassion, humor, and understanding. Each story and character is inspired by the special personalities and experiences that shape life with our furry and feathered family members.
