Every Cat Is Work of Art

After gaining a better understanding of cats, I have come to appreciate that some cats are like works of art. Maybe they don’t want a lot of touches, chin scratches, or back rubs. Maybe they’re the kind of cat you simply sit back and admire.

You look at all the beauty they offer. Every detail is finely tuned. The way they gracefully walk, the gentle way they place each hair back in place during a long grooming session, and the soothing, vibrating sounds of their purrs.

When you take the time to simply observe a cat, you get the chance to see things you might otherwise miss. Such as their personality, the way they move, even the gentle blinking of their eyes. Their twitching little noses, detailed whiskers, and beautifully shaped ears all tell a story. It’s not only about their physical beauty.

It’s also about their behavior. I like to sit and study cats as if I’m studying a piece of art. Appreciating everything about them, even if I can’t touch them. Perhaps some things aren’t meant to be touched, but simply admired.

"Every cat is like art; they are uniquely created. With a better understanding of them comes a greater appreciation.”
